Virgin Hotels Edinburgh
We supplied Persian rugs for the hotel's interiors, including the hallway runner shown above and a rug for its reception. Both show how a one-off handmade rug can be selected for a specific room.

How We Help with Your Project
We can narrow a large collection to the rugs that suit your space, palette and budget. If the right piece is not in stock, we can search beyond the website.
Shortlisting
Tell us what the room needs and we will select relevant one-off rugs for you to consider.
Sourcing
Our wider network can help us find rugs that are not on the website, including unusual sizes or a particular colour balance, origin or character.
Client Presentation
Request further photographs, video, measurements, close-ups and details of construction or condition. We can also prepare room mock-ups.
In-Room Viewing
For suitable local projects, shortlisted rugs can be viewed in the space before a final decision.
What to Send Us
You do not need a finished specification. Send a brief in whatever form you have it, and we can help refine the search.
- Room dimensions and the preferred rug size
- Photographs, plans or a moodboard
- Colours, style references and practical needs
- Budget and project timing
Selected Projects
We have supplied rugs for individual rooms and commercial interiors, sourced unusually large carpets and produced bespoke pieces for hospitality projects.
A 9 × 6.5 Metre Carpet for Parliament House
We sourced this unusually large handmade carpet for the Reading Room of the Faculty of Advocates in Edinburgh. The brief called for a size that could not be met from a standard collection.
Advice on Origin, Quality and Suitability
Photographs can only tell you so much. We can advise on a rug's origin, construction, quality, colour and condition, as well as likely wear and suitability for the way a room will be used.
We have worked with handmade Persian and Oriental rugs for more than 20 years from our Glasgow showroom. We can help with placement and care, and provide specialist cleaning, repair, restoration and valuation services when needed.
