UK Returns

At Little-Persia, we understand that investing in a handmade rug is a significant decision that often requires careful consideration. Our aim is for all our customers to be thrilled with their one-of-a-kind pieces that bring artistry to their floors. To give you confidence in your purchase, we offer 28 day peace of mind returns for all mainland UK orders. We want you to be confident that if the rug isn't quite what you expected, it can be returned for a full no hassle refund. 

On choosing a rug we kindly ask that you measure your room and double-check the rug size before placing your order. This simple step can help to reduce any unnecessary returns and ensure that you end up with a rug that you love. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We're here to help you make an informed and satisfying purchase and can send additional images or videos of all the rugs.

We have a 28-day online return policy (14 days in-store), which means you have 28 days after receiving your item for it to be back with us. Return requests must be sent within 14 days of delivery, and we can then work with you to arrange a collection. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and with its original packaging or better.

We take great care to ensure that our rugs are delivered to you in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that your rug arrives damaged, we ask that you let us know within 24 hours of delivery, and we'll arrange for a collection and refund. For damage that has occurred in transit, we ask that you note with the courier on delivery that the package is damaged and take a photograph as evidence as this would be required in any claim we make for insurance. 

We also ask that you package the rug appropriately when returning it to us to avoid any damage during transit. Rugs received damaged due to insufficient packaging will be returned to the sender and will not be refunded.

When your return request is accepted, we will liaise with you on the best method of shipping. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, this includes any custom rugs that are made to your own specification (this is uncommon but a service that we can offer - contact us for details).

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.


Exchanges
Exchanges are possible, simply contact us and we will work with you to arrange delivery and collection. This may not always be possible on the same day/time or same courier depending on item size, weight and delivery location. 


European Union & International 14-day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. International return costs are the responsibility of the customer and any delivery costs will be deducted from the amount refunded on return.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 1-2 working days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
